Join us for a series of exciting and informative events designed to boost your digital safety and awareness

October was declared Cybersecurity Awareness Month in 2004 by the President of the United States and Congress.  Each year in October, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the National Cybersecurity Alliance (NCA) lead a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise cybersecurity awareness nationally and internationally. 

Presentation: Phishing

October 16 & 17 - 10 am

In today’s digital landscape, the threat of cyberattacks is more prevalent than ever. This workshop is designed to equip employees with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize phishing attempts and manage their passwords effectively. Participants will learn to identify warning signs of phishing, understand common phishing strategies, etc. Additionally, the session will cover the importance of strong password creation and management.

Come to the Instructional Innovation Center (IIC) and complete your training in our computer lab.  Upon completion, you will receive a free Cyber Security Awareness T-shirt.*  This training takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and consists of only one online computer-based training module.
* You must complete the training at the Instructional Innovation Center (IIC) to receive a free t-shirt.
